We stress "Fun and Safety" for your family and the fish, and we encourage catch and release, but understand that fish are a viable food source, and when properly harvested a fish dinner adds to the family experience of fishing.

We Cater to Kids

Safety and comfort is our first concern, and our boats are equipped for safety. We pinch down the barbs on our hooks for additional safety, and prior to "Making Way" we instruct your Family on proper use of equipment. Review our "Frequently Asked Questions" section on sun protection and appropriate dress to add to your comfort. By state regulation, all children age twelve and younger are required to wear a life jacket which we will provide.

Fun and Teaching is our Mission!

Although kids like fish with sharp teeth and cool names, the fish we target will be decided on by season, regulations, and your request. All tackle and equipment will be provided, and we monitor what is biting and where, and when the tide will be right to increase our chance of success. A famous guide said, "Lower your expectations to increase your Fun". Guides can never guarantee catching fish...Fun and Teaching is our Mission!

We are fortunate to have a variety of fish species to catch and observe in our South Jersey back bay, and near shore waters. Depending on the season, and NJ fishing regulations, we discuss and target your preference. The New Jersey "Grand Slam" consists of the Stripped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, and elusive Weakfish.
